Keeping Bromley on the Right Path: The 2026 Bromley Conservative Manifesto

Front cover of the Bromley Conservative Manifesto for the 2026 Local Elections

Introduction from the Leader of the Bromley Conservatives

I hope that you agree that we are fortunate enough to live in London’s Best Borough.

These things don’t happen by accident.

Renewed libraries. Brand new leisure centres in the offing. The Churchill Theatre’s future secured for future generations to enjoy. The Council’s internationally acclaimed loneliness project. Great Schools. Our abundant parks and green spaces and Bromley’s national leading management of its Pension fund saving our Tax payers £10m per year alone to name but a few of our achievements.

It has been an honour and a privilege for my colleagues and I to served for these past four years and we thank you for your trust and support throughout.

Despite the problems posed locally by vicious Government cuts to the Council’s funding for vital services, whilst trying to turn Bromley’s Green belt into an enormous building site for the rest of London. Aided and abetted by a Mayor for London who clearly hates our way of life and the absolute need for so many Bromley people to be able to drive their cars unhindered, we have continued to hold our course and pursued our promised path.

We believe that our agenda is your agenda - good old fashioned, no nonsense, Common Sense – and that is our renewed pledge to you all for the next 4 years if we are re-elected on May 7th.

At a time when the world feels so uncertain - not least in local government - I hope you will support us, so that we can continue to deliver for you, your family, and to Keep Bromley firmly on the Right Path.

With best wishes,

Colin Smith
